Michael Barnes wrote: Yeah man, those are stock up prices right there- wish they had some of the newer waves on that sale because I've just got one set each of the flotilla ships and want more. . The MC30c is one of my favorite ships in the game- love that thing. And the ISD is a MUST HAVE if you don't already have one because...well, you got into this game to fly an ISD, didn't you?
Yeah I ended up grabbing one of each from Wave 2.
I have one of each from Wave 1 since launch, played the game a few times, loved it, but don't have a regular partner and I'm not interested in playing in tournaments with meta lists so I never jumped in on the rest of it.
But for that price, I just have to get the ISD and throw it on the table. Cant wait to load up an ISD and Slave I and a ton of tie squadrons and just see what I can do with it.

I do not care anything about meta or tournaments or any of that. To be honest, I don't even use a lot of the upgrade cards. I use Fab's Fleet Builder and just generate random battles.

Liberty and Interdictor look awesome but I don't know that I really need them because I'll probably never run either over home one/ISD, the medium ships seem like they add a ton, but I have a ton to play with already.

I actually don't mind it slowing down and staying a niche product. I think they've done a great job with it. Releasing waves slowly, pretty well balanced. I also love that they made the base and first two waves the true core of the game. You can only have those waves and you have everything that the game is about. The most recent waves are really about adding support ships and synergies.
I think there's a legit question to be asked about when a game is done. When do you just keep it in stock (provided it's still selling at a low level) and largely consider it finished? I know that's inconsistent with the expansion model everyone is running, so maybe it's not doable.
