Looks fantastic. I'm digging the sewer fighting take on the setting. Squares instead of measuring is a good change...but there are still rules to go 3d old school if desired.

Love how they incorporated the design of the old plastic bulkheads into the new game.

Looks really cool. I am looking forward to the PC game of the same name.

As one of my all-time favorite games, I'm really glad this is coming back. And I'm totally cool it's not just a release of the old game. Innovate or die in the underhive!

I just noticed, but it looks like GW is continuing that thing where the box is part of the battlefield.

the trailer is great:

Fuck me, I forgot this was even coming out. So this or Shadespire? This doesn't look as fiddly as Shadespire and has Mohawks, so my gut is telling me Necromunda but Shadespire is compatible with my AoS skirmish armies.

Not that I have time to paint either one.

From what I read, it sounds like Shadespire is a tight design with competitive play in mind. Very little in the way of narrative. But, yeah, the models would fit right into an AoS warband. I hear it's a great game too, but like I said, more on the dry Xs and Os side of the spectrum.

I'd guess Necromunda will be a wild ride and a lot fun in the casual setting it's designed for. I'm liking the look of everything about this.

Any word on pricing yet? The new Bloodbowl minis are $35 for 12 dudes. From what I understand, that's enough to play the game and buying two boxes gets you more options when doing league play. Will it be similar here? Not as worried about the overpriced characters since we can always kitbash/proxy them.

That said, what about Shadespire expansion pricing?

I think Shadespire is (MSRP) $60 for the base game with each expansion being $30. From what I understand the expansions can be solo buys and you won't need them all, so if true, a little cheaper than a BB team box (that doesn't really contain all the minis for league play as noted).

I'm assuming that Necro will follow BBs model a little more and expect gangs to be about $35. Total guess on my part though.

The campaign book being separate is kind of a bummer. Otherwise, really stoked for this. I think Shadespire will be the better game in my opinion, but Necromunda has a special place in my heart. Plus I have a ton of that Sector Mechanicus terrain.

I really wish there was some info on how the.new game plays. I already have the old rules, but maybe the grid move and cards are better?

I'm dying to know.

There's a short gameplay video. Not much info though. It's 8th, using additional dice for injuries, ammo etc. Also have additional attributes (one of them shooting targets other than the nearest). Weapons have two range bands (short & long).

EDIT: Roll off for moving the first figure, for two actions. Can fire, duck into cover, move, reload, crawl to duct and charge. Fire and duck into cover can only be done once per turn. Crawl to duct and charge take all two actions.

Any word on when we'll be getting more factions? Any coming this year or early 2018?
