It's actually hard to find buyers for games like that anymore, to be honest, and that does impact the value. Doesn't matter if it's a $200 game if nobody is willing to pay $200 for it. It used to be easier to sell premium OOP titles. Now, people would rather drop $500 on a CMON Kickstarter than search out a vintage OOP game. I almost kind of feel like the bottom has dropped out of the vintage games market in a lot of ways, not just because of Kickstarter and the reprint cycle of the past 10 or so years, but also because the game collecting culture has changed a lot. People aren't out searching for Dune, Magic Realm, and all of that like they used to. Most people using BGG with regularity now probably have no idea what City of Chaos is.

But when you have something like Dungeon Degenerates, Cave Evil, those kinds of really unique niche titles that come and go with 1000 copy print runs and are met with universal acclaim...that's when you get something that may be really valuable.

How is JJ? Tell him I miss him.

He's well, not meaning to speak for him but I think he's been divesting himself from social media on the whole. I shall pass your sentiments on to him.
