Has anyone else tried this game? For a while there I was pretty into it. I am a big fan of the RPG and the cards capture the atomosphere well. I love the weirdness of the setting and the interesting conspiracy chains it creates. Anyway, I pulled out a big stack of cards last night and started making decks.

Not that I'll get to play...but its always good to have a hobby.

Pooor ol' Steve Avery.

I played On the Edge quite a bit when it first came out, and I think I still have a stack of cards left packed away in a box somewhere. I think I liked Illuminati CCG a little better though, or even Netrunner. But it was a decent CCG.

"Over the Edge" was a cool RPG story line. But stopped playing when SLA industries came along, and blew it out of the water.

I played once back in 1995. The local game shop had a bunch of players. I honestly thought that it seemed pretty lacking in strategy compared to Magic, Jyhad, Shadowfist, and Legend of the Five Rings. Then again, all of those games are still being published, unlike most CCGs. On the Edge supposedly got a lot more interesting with later sets, but it just didn't stand out enough during the glut of CCGs at that time. Even so, there was a regular group that played at the local comic/game shop once a week, for years. I think they finally stopped playing around 2000 or 2001.
