Dude, that is a complete waste of money. You need to set your priorities on a game where strategy and tactics are the primary driver of the purchase, like Wings of War or Heroscape.

lol Thanks for bringing me back Sag.
It's far too pricey for an impulse buy for me. But the dice do look oh so pretty.

I love the look of these dice. I was thinking of picking up a few to add to other games, as i have no interest in actually playing the game they are made for (I have Dragon Dice for that). I think they could be a nice thematic element to some of my games.

I'd like to meet the Mr. Suitcase of this game.
He'd better have wheels on that thing, and a trust fund to pay for it all.
Neat looking stuff, but I can't see how you're going to cough up a game's worth of dough for nine dice, and then think "you know, I guess I need more of these to get the most out of this game".
Next up, we play a CMG with Rai stone money.

I'd say just play Dragon Dice, but you sent me all yours way back when. For which I am still grateful because Dragon Dice is pure dice rolling fun.

What a terrible product...the cost, the functionality...I doubt the game is any good base on what I'm seeing. And I'd LOVE to take those over to Swamp Castle and roll them on the glass table we play on...
I've seen so many game products like this in my lifetime that when I see something like IRONDIE, all I see is glowing, flaming letters that spell "D-O-O-M-E-D".

You know what they say Michael...
People in glass houses... shouldn't throw metal dice on the table.
I still would buy them if they were a LOT less. I'm not sure about them being doomed, however. If they use a model where they sell direct only, they could cater to gamers where money is no object at that price point. It depends on how low of a run they can manfacture the dice.
