Calling Indianapolis F:ATties!

So I'm traveling to Indianapolis for work this June. I'll be working at a convention and pretty busy during the days, but I should be able to find some time to hang out, especially later in my trip. Are there any local F:ATties interested in meeting up around that time to play some games, or even just hang out?

I arrive on June 16th, and I fly out on the 26th.

Nate, I would definitely be interested. I live about 45 minutes south of Indy, but I'm starting a new job on the south side of Indy in May. I'm helping expand a comic store to include gaming, and we may be moved to our new space by then. If that is wrapped up, you can come down to my store and play. Otherwise, we'll figure something out.

Me too! Me too! I am going to the SQA Conf, arriving Sunday Apr 28, departing on Thursday May 2. Evenings are wide open. Anyone around there?

I'll be out of town in my beloved Lone Star State for Nathaniel's visit to Indianapolis, but I might be able to meet with J. Jebba Jebbadoo for some wine and giggles.

Yeah, I'll be right by the convention center at the Westin. I'll be working at the big Nazarene General Convention.

I don't drink, and I keep kosher, so I usually pack my own food. I am easy to care for! I will play anything. We could just shoot the shit and play CRIBBAGE, I don't care really. Set up some big AT game and we'll rock out.

I will be at the JW Marriott, we can play there, or I can catch a cab to somewhere. My days will end at 5 PM or so. Tuesday is the only dubious day, as there's an international networking thing til 8 PM that day I will hit.

Hey, just wanted to revive this thread since sanildefanso's visit is fast approaching. Nate, I am still up to get together while you are here. We won't be moved to our new location by the time you get here, but I could meet you downtown. I have been a less frequent visitor to F:AT lately, as the new job has kept me busy. I will keep an eye on this thread, but the best thing to do is probably TM me. That way I will get an email letting me know I have a message.

Anyone else going to be available to get together with Nate and me?

Just got back from Indy today, and I got to hang out with Dair and Brewmeister last night. We had a couple of games around, but we just ended up chatting for 2 or 3 hours in the hotel lobby. Topics included the trials of learning Titan, our kids, the new comic store where Dair works, and various anecdotes of Trashfest 2012.

The coolest thing about this site is how close-knit the users are, where you can meet in real life and feel comfortable shooting the breeze with someone you've never actually met. So if any of you are in Indianapolis, look these cats up. They're stand up guys who were kind enough to drive a little to hang out with an out-of-towner.

Dair is the undisputed king of shooting the shit in Indianapolis hotel lobbies with games nearby. The KING.

It was great getting together and hanging with Nate and Dair, although it made me regret all the more missing Jeb and the other missed FATties at various Gen Con. And as I was driving home through the thunderstorms I was wondering how good of an idea it had been but everything was all right in the end.

San Il and Brewmiester, it was a blast to hang out with you both. Maybe eventually I'll play a game with the people that come into town. If not, no big deal. I enjoyed chatting just as much as gaming.
