Acceptance and repentance

I’m alive! But more importantly I’ve got friends moving to the Northeast from Minnesota so be nice to them, but not too nice. Minnesota Nice is an antisocial coping mechanism so don’t do that. So they’re moving to Connecticut and I was praising the virtues of some of you good NE locals. If you disappoint me I will forever not care all that much really.

Also, I didn’t intend to go all Jeff White and disappear so I’ll try to do less of that. But if I do that again it’s only because I learned from the best.

I’m hoping they chime and they are both board gamers and awesome people. Solid imports.

I'm half of said friends in question. My wife and I, along with our two kids, will be moving to Cromwell, CT, just south of Hartford where her new project will be. Any links to groups to try and connect with would be greatly appreciated. Neither of us have social media but I am a frequent viewer/lurker at BGG (same username). It's going to be an adventure!

There is also a weekly meetup at the same location, I think it is on a Monday or Tuesday evening. I will have to look it up.

When are you moving?

We'll be moving out there mid-June and once our stuff arrives will probably be stable a month later. Need to get the kids enrolled in school and find boredom busting activities first. PM sent.
