My friend's Attack Wing collection (getting out of the game). I didn't realize just how much he had, so I need to bolster my "out" list...I haven't gone through it yet but somewhere around 30 ships.
Out:
Hybrid with Expansion and Cry Havoc 1-4 plus some extra minis
Eaten By Zombies
Oceania
So I need to find some more stuff to send his way.

I managed to make it through the rules once and play a game and it really was pretty good and once you got going it made sense. But, all that flavor and atmosphere didn't amount to squat because basically it was an objective based miniatures game based in a dungeon.
Hybrid lived up to its name though because it successfully took the miniatures rules from Confrontation and brought it indoors to look like a dungeon crawl.
Oh...And I did count. It is 31 ships for Attack Wing.

I had never even heard of this game...just checked on BGG to find out what it's about, and one geekbuddy had an enticing comment on it:Michael Barnes wrote: Tonga Bonga...I have no idea why, but I want that game more than anything else right now. I forget that Stefan Dorra has done some awesome simple games...like Intrige...
The best thing about geekbuddy comments is that you NEVER get someone going through an entire rules summary in a comment.Sweet. You make pre-emptive bids and buy each other's die rolls.
Basically, the die-rolling, kiddie version of Intrige.
This is nicely nasty and open ended, as lots of Dorra games are.
Do not play with snooty gamers who will condescend on games with lots of die rolling, and pretty ships.

It's funny, when Hybrid came out there really weren't a whole lot of dungeoncrawl games like that. I think Descent had not even come out. It was such a ramshackle mess, I still TRIED to play it. I had a pretty decent-looking set of figures for it (it was back when I was at the store and could while away the day painting) and it actually got me into the Rackham stuff for a while. But yeah, the game was really pretty bad.

I shipped a set of LPs to Greece once without hassle (besides filling out the customs forms).
