Yeah, I read your comments on it but the game still appeals to me. I'd be losing about ten dollars if that trade goes through, but really only the cost of shipping, which is not insubstantial with the weight of Confusion. Hmmm...maybe I'll yank those. Again, these are fishing trades and I don't expect a deal to go through.

Edit: shipping my game to NYC would cost about $22. In light of that I pulled several games from the list, including Thunder Alley, which is for sale relatively cheaply in the BGG store.

I still don't understand why people posted so damn many $10-30 gift certs on that math trade. BGG logic baffles me.

They're trying to pick up stuff used that they can't find in other places.

I need to pull Thunder Alley out again. The last time I played I figured something out and haven't gotten back to it.

Talon is due to deliver any day, need to start WofG on Vassal again . . . Replacing a floor in my bathroom instead. Winter blues.

I'll be working on the laminate flooring in my front room today. The connector ends have chipped and it is sliding around.

I do Math Trades to get rid of stuff I don't play, and with the number of games I've got a gift cert is often as good or better than another game. More often than not my crap really only trades well for other peoples' crap anyway, so being able to use GCs to get something I really want is a win for me.

I'm still high on Thunder Alley. I have a tough time drumming up interest though so I don't get to play it as much as I'd like. I've noticed that people look at me a little funny when I use "GMT" and "NASCAR" in the same sentence, too.

Is it time to do another Math Trade here? I know they're usually smaller, but I'm more comfortable with a math trade here rather than elsewhere. The problem is, I have no idea how to run one (I feel like I'm just barely able to figure out how to participate in them).

I would put a lot of items up for math trade.... just not sure if any wants any OR if there is anything out there I want. Hmmm maybe I just need to do a sale auction.

Got rid of some Pathfinder packs for Omen: Reign of War. Now I just need to unload the base set.

I could definitely get into a FAT math trade. Who do we need to alert? Loter did a few, he's not really around anymore. Barnes? Jeb?

In other news, "A Few Acre of Snow" which everyone slagged for being broken, and was being dumped en masse, is now out of print and the price is shooting up.

Yeah, I gave up on trying to get a copy in trade and just bought one off of the geek market last month at a decent price. Excellent game.

Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective: The Mansion Murders - I'm going to give this to a friend who's a big Consulting Detective fan and is trying to get all the expansions from the 80s version. This one actually is a stand-alone game, which is pretty cool, since he won't have to mix and match his new base game with an older expansion and hope it all works together properly.

There are about 20 extra cards (15 Equipment, 5 rescued Thralls) which you can get through the BGG Store. They were included in the KS version. That's pretty much it, plus extra scenarios from the hardcover book, but the 20 already included will keep you busy for a while.
