END OF AN ERA. What a collection. I still maintain this system is FFG's overlooked gem.

It’s one of the best games they’ve ever done, absolutely. But it is quite complex and expensive, which kept it at arm’s length for many players. I hate to let it go but it’s solo only for me and it’s too much money to just be sitting in the basement.

Man, I've been wanting to get a full set of Armada for a while but had talked myself out of it due to the high likelihood of it becoming a very large and expensive toad staring at me from my shelves. But this rekindled my fascination with this game, and digging briefly into the Corellian Conflict expansion, I wonder if I could makes this a periodic team game for game night. Looks like the expansion is available on eBay for reasonable prices, so it's doable. I presume this is enough stuff to field two opposing 400 point fleets? I would certainly hope so.

Give me a day or so to ponder and talk to folk before you give up and go to eBay (unless of course someone comes in and takes it first).
