Anyone selling tons of Heroscape? Want to build a robust collection from nothing

A TWBGer (is that the new moniker for FATties?) came through and I will soon be basking in 34 pounds of Heroscape. Can't wait to show this to my daughter.

Meanwhile, Batman: Gotham City Chronicles, Star Wars: Outer Rim, and others out the door to pay for this.

Batman was always a "maybe" when I backed it. I'd have a hard time justifying both it and Conan on my shelf, and Conan looks to be a more simple and streamlined game if you can believe it. They went icon overboard on Batman and also added elevations as a key mechanic, from what I can tell there are quite a bit of usability issues.

I may reach out to you in the future Michael as this seems like a disease that's hard to kick.

Hooboy. I'm scared of even posting this because of the effort it would entail, but here goes.

I have 2 Valkyrie master sets (with the sparkly water), 2 of the second base set, and one of the Marvel. I have castles (I think two). I have (I think) two of the forests. I have (I think) oneof the tundra. I don't have any Volcarren; just got in too late. I have waves upon waves of figures, many still in the packs. I'm ballparking here, because it's been a while, but I think I probably have 2x common and 1x unique for every wave up through maybe 7. I don't guarantee any of that, because I'm not at home and I wouldn't have time to check in the very near term, but just imagine that it's in that ballpark in terms of scope. The RotV sets were secondhand but everything else was new. I know that a few of the figure cards have gotten bent up because the packs got damaged, but by and large everything should be in good shape.

The issues: (1) I've never priced it. (2) I don't have a clear sense of how I'd ship it, particularly with respect to individual character figures out of the packs (so as to avoid damage). However, we're also (maybe?) not *that* far apart geographically.

When it comes to shipping HS miniatures I've never done anything more than putting the cards and figs in separate ziploc bags before putting them in the smallest box that will hold them. As long as they're held securely and the box doesn't make any noise when you shake it, you're golden. A little more care needs to be taken with master sets so the terrain doesn't damage the figures, but that shouldn't be a big deal.

That being said, I did a spot check on eBay and anything "good" (i.e., not master set figures) has spiked in value, and unopened boosters are going for a premium. If you have all four from a wave sealed, all the better. Even one of the most ubiquitous waves, Wave 5, is going for more than MSRP, which was a surprise.

I'm not in a hot panic to move it, so it'll still be here for a bit at least.

The custom DC and Mavel units are are exquisitely balanced and playtested, and they’ve got maps, scenarios, and campaigns galore. If you already own a few sets of Heroscape, you can be up and running for,the price of a dozen Heroclix minis on Ebay. But be warned - it’s super addictive, and there are customs of all your favorites...

I am not unless you have something like the jungle or ice stuff super cheap. Ebay is the best place to unload this stuff I think.
