Looking for an Xbox 360 hard drive

So I sold off enough stuff to get an Xbox, but I only got the arcade because I figured I could get an Arcade and a used hard drive for cheaper than a Pro or Elite. But now I need the hard drive.

Anybody got one they want to sell or trade for? I'm probably most interested in the 20 gb, but interested in anything anybody has.

I've never even filled up my 13 gb HDD halfway. You could probably get a used one really cheaply.

20 gb is not enough. I've had my 360 for a long time. I recommend going bigger.

Now i'm at the point where I have to decide if I'll get a 60 or 120 gb or if I might as well get an Elite console where the 120gb comes free and then I get my HDMI port.

decisions, decisions

it's going to be pain redownloading all the Rock Band songs I've bought

You can get a data transfer kit.

The 120 gb hard drive comes with the cable.

I had a 20 GB and switched to 120 GB since we can now transfer the games on the HD. With the 20 GB, I was at the point where I couldn't really have two games transferred at the same time, what with all the RB songs and other various downloads.

BTW, 20 GB has actually about 15 GB of free space.

Thanks, Metalface.

Yeah, 20gb is not enough. What with the Rock Band songs, I have room for ONE installed game. And once I have an installed game, then I have to delete that game if I ever want to download a demo (like i did on the weekend when I wanted to try batman Arkham Asylum (SO GOOD, btw)).

that's great that the 120gb HD comes with the cable. Now I just have to pick between getting the 120 HD on its own or splurging a bit more for a new Elite console

I don't go all nutso on the downloadable content. I figure I'll start with a 20 and move up as I need to.

What's up with installing games? Any benefit?

Apparently faster load times (haven't really noticed with Oblivion though), less wear on the disc drive, a lot less noise (man the 360 is loud!), stuff like that basically. When playing Rock Band or Guitar Hero the noise isn't really a problem though.

the faster load times are REALLY obvious in some games. Some site posts the difference in loading times in various games. I forget which site that was.

But yeah, less noise too and less wear-and-tear on your 360. I'd imagine less heat too.

Yeah, if you're not big on DLC, then 20 gigs is fine I guess
