eBay was created by ChristopherMD
This thread is for listing eBay auctions of interest, including your own. The preference is for listing hard to find items rather than last month's over-hyped game you just burned out on.

You should display eBay listings by clicking on the button and pasting the listing number between the tags.

Expired auctions and related posts may be deleted from this thread on a semi-regular basis.

Also, 4 out of 5 F:ATties recommend using a site like jBidwatcher to schedule a last minute bid (i.e. sniping).

So why're they priced in Dollars then?

EDIT- (Hopefully Tom's thinking he's done something wrong right about now... (or I'm crap at winding him up))

Because eBay is an American thing of course .... or that's what we let them think.

Nope, that's not it, when you click on the links it changes to Pounds (but it's still ebay.com). I'm wondering whether it shows as dollars here because F:AT is US based, but as Pounds when I click on the link because I'm in the UK.

Of course, it'll still be £60, even if the first auction ends at $24. Add $30ish shipping, plus 17.5% VAT, plus the postal services £8 handling fee... Yes, I'm still sour that Brood War @ $10 still isn't a bargain. :(

Not just a DUNGEON in shrink, but Gary Gygax's DUNGEON in shrink, i.e. the one he owned. Dozens of his game collection items are up on eBay .

Seems a little ghoulish to me.

Not judging, but looking at that page made me feel weird.

And the Gygax trove is going for silly prices. Swords & Sorcery (SPI) first edition for $120, Battle of the Five Armies (TSR) for $162.50, and Metamorphosis Alpha (TSR) first edition for $247.50.
(Maybe I should sell mine...)

1st Edition Metamorphosis Alpha is available online. Of course I realize all of this stuff is available online, but I'm pretty sure Metamorphosis Alpha is available LEGALLY with the permission of the copyright holder online. FOR FREE.

Sometimes its fun to see other people wasting their money, it helps alleviate the sting of how many times you've done it yourself :)

Speaking of which anyone have any experience with 5th Column games? Their Pre-order LOST BATTLES looks cool, but $130 for a boardgame!? That's the discounted pre-order price plus shipping from UK to US. Thoughts?

Sorry, I missed that this was Gygax's personal stash, before my last post. That explains the prices somewhat. Although anyone can scribble "Property of Gary Gygax" on anything they want....just saying...buyer beware....BEWARE!!!
