Which Attacktix are we talking about here, Marvel, Star Wars, or both combined?

Marvel, Starwars and Transformers. The main bunch is Star Wars, but there's a TON, and I mean a TON (like 2 full big boxes worth) of them. Bullets and everything included, and some "Megas" which are the vehicles and big shit.

Great, great game. I played it for YEARS and was in a ton of tournaments (look up "TOA Attacktix" or "TixCon Attacktix") but the line died and that was the end for me. So I have maybe 200-300? I never counted, but it's GOT to be at least that.

How much would shipping be to 92103? And how about if it was just the original trilogy Star Wars figures? :-)

Heck no. I kept my favorites: Bhazum, Dirge:CiC, Politico: Fall of Caesar, Seii Daishogun, and I have 2 copies of Irondale. It's just that my gaming shelf has been ordained by Mrs. TNT to be the only place I'm "allowed" to store games, and in order for me to get new games, I need to make room.

I absolutely love these games, no doubt, with the exception of Tempt, which I just think it too complex for my tastes, and with the rules being probably the least understandable as any I've seen from him, I just don't want that one. Insyllium is fun, but a hair complex, but I've had my fill of it since I've played it a great many times now since John sent them.

Plus, the more copies out there, the more they get played, and the more exposure he gets. Win-Friggin-Win.

You sure you want Pirate's Cove? It's just not that good. Maybe if you are 12 years old... but for a hobby gamer? No.

I can empathize. The Mrs bought be a beautiful walnut cabinet to hide store my games. Shelf space is getting tight.

Glad to hear I didn't make a poor purchasing decision with SMG based on FAT peer pressure. I have alot of stuff i have bought lately but haven't played. Perhaps from hype and too much time here, but is a proxy for the actual playing of games.

Now I have to decide if the new Survive is worth it. Underwhelmed by the art/design I have seen

Alistair, this is specifically to play with my 9 year old. I'm tired of Sorry Sliders, which I fucking DESPISE anyhow, and tired of Pictureka and other kids games, and she always beats me mercilessly at Summoner Wars (the little shit can roll 5s and 6s on command) so I'm looking for games we can play together.

It's prohibitively expensive, even if I put it all in a huge box.
Parcel Post is 26$
Priority is 31$
UPS is 28$

Now, just for the "Original Trilogy" stuff, which appears to be about half of what I have, I could ship it to Sandy Eggo for 16$, insured. So, half the initial offer price...fuck it. Call it 40$ shipped.

Pete,

Why'd you sell DotR? Two months ago you wrote it was one of the best releases of the year. Did you play it to death or did it have no legs?

Played the living shit out of it and now nobody wants to play it. I have a weird problem with my game groups...one is all about "the cult of the new" where they want to play the latest, greatest and the other is one that is more about Euros and "perfecting/optimizing". Quite honestly, though, we played maybe 30+ games of DotR in a short period of time, sometimes three times a night if we lost twice quickly, and although I still like it, Group #1 has told me that it's worn out.

I'd still like to play it, but my buddy Todd in Albequerque got it and I expect he'll enjoy it immensely.

Don't think that my selling things in some sort of admonition, it's not. I just have WAY too much shit on these shelves and I honestly need to make room for games I really want to get. Having the blog doesn't help my cause any because I really need new material to write about, and although I get the odd freebie, 99% of the games I get, I buy.

Still have a just-punched Arkham Horror I need to play....I've not even looked at the rules, although I played it once with a couple of friends and likely could remember how to play...

Ah, no I didn't want to suggest it was an admonition, just curiosity having read that review and remembering how happy you were with the title. But 30 plus times plus game group with varying taste, that'll do in plenty of games I think.
