I'm going to try, except I have to get my ass out of bed in four hours. The fact that I'm typing this tells you how rough that's going to be.

City built and validated here. We may need to start an email reminder list up. Y'all know my address, hasn't changed in years.

Yes, I need help to crush Doc Mabuse's shitty inns.

It's a good game and a good interface (although it still has some bugs - work in progress). It's also brutal as hell. Rules are here .

I would play another if you want.

I want to try out something different than in the one with Sax and Dog.

It is a brutal game, but it's not too taxing when played at web speed.

Oh, schlupp, you were robbed. The reason your game didn't register Doc as winning was because he had put graves on his cathedral. Graves on a building make it useless, so the win condition wouldn't trigger. You were both pretty hosed, and he would have needed to find room for a hospital to actually claim the win.

Huh, I didn't notice that, I think I just clicked willy nilly at the end of the last turn without thinking. I had enough space to throw them elsewhere.

I'll until tomorrow and if there are no more takers we'll go with the three of us.

How many can play? My copy arrived today - so I can go over the rules tonight if we wait until tomorrow.

Yeah, the rules enforcement really helps the learning process. The rules aren't too bad, but they can be unforgiving sometimes. There's no catch-up built into this thing.

NEVER RUN OUT OF WOOD.

Huh, indeed! I didn't notice, but Doc's right, of course, he could have put the graves anywhere. But good to know that it's not a bug.

A tough game to master.

Space Ghost, be sure to TM your Antiquity username to Dr Mabuse so he can include you when creating the game.

The log doesn't show when a grave was placed, so I couldn't tell when he'd broken his cathedral. If it was on the last turn, then he should have won by placing them on anything else. Well, anything but the stables, anyway. That would be necessary for the win as well.

I'm doing a San Christofori strategy in our other game, trying to build a minimal city to keep pollution down. I think I will be able to pull it off with just my original city and no expansion. I did trip over a rule last turn though, it seems that both hexes of a fishery need to be adjacent to a water hex, not just one of them. That means I need to build another inn. Doh!

I like this game, it has some interesting Euroness to it. Not high on the interaction, though.

I agree. I wish you could mess with your opponent at least a little bit. You know what he's up to at some point (especially once he has a church/saint), but apparently the only way to do something against it is to be quicker in fulfilling your own victory conditions.
