WELCOME TO TRASHDOME!
This is part of a series of bloody matches to the death. Show support for your favorite game so it will do better in the fight. You can support it by writing why you think its the better game and more importantly by betting (i.e. voting for) it. Please make it clear for when I check the bets later. You have until Friday when I tally the bets and declare the winner. I will reserve my bet for any tie-breakers.
Although you should be familiar with both games, there is no rule that says you have to have played both of them. The only rule in Trashdome is this;
Two games enter! One game leaves!

When my best friend's two boys come over all they want to play is HeroScape. We all own Nexus Ops and never play it.

I took this decision to the kids. Sivan, 8.5, and Shai, a recently minted 7. They both overwhelmingly selected NEXUS OPS. I asked for explanations.:
Sivan: "[HeroScape] is too hard to set up. You have a lot of pieces and it takes a long time. You have sand, and water, and guys that can't go on some of them. For Nexus Ops, you just need to set up a board. It's easier."
Shai: "The same things she said."
