WELCOME TO TRASHDOME!
This is part of a series of bloody matches to the death. Show support for your favorite game so it will do better in the fight. You can support it by writing why you think its the better game and more importantly by betting (i.e. voting for) it. Please make it clear for when I check the bets later. You have until Friday when I tally the bets and declare the winner. I will reserve my bet for any tie-breakers.
Although you should be familiar with both games, there is no rule that says you have to have played both of them. The only rule in Trashdome is this;
Two games enter! One game leaves!

I've never played Puzzle Strike, but I've played Dominion. So....

Dominion was the pioneer, the granddaddy, the king innovator. A landmark, a game changer. However, set the two games in front of me, and I'll choose to play

Without Dominion, there is no Puzzle Strike.
Add to that the fact that Dominion worked out of the box the first time, as did all of it's expansions. I don't have to buy the second edition, upgrade kits, the third (!) edition, etc...

Puzzle Strike works awesome with no expansions. Dominions needs about a dozen.

Yeah, I agree that Puzzle Strike is the only deckbuilder that works out of the box for more than 30 games. The interaction and the other characters makes a big difference.
The "balance" issues that Sirlin keeps noodling with are annoying, and that's the biggest ding on the game. Neither game is perfect by a long shot.

No other game could possibly be as over-rated as Dominion.
