WELCOME TO TRASHDOME!
This is part of a series of bloody matches to the death. Show support for your favorite game so it will do better in the fight. You can support it by writing why you think its the better game and more importantly by betting (i.e. voting for) it. Please make it clear for when I check the bets later. You have until Friday when I tally the bets and declare the winner. I will reserve my bet for any tie-breakers.
Although you should be familiar with both games, there is no rule that says you have to have played both of them. The only rule in Trashdome is this;
Two games enter! One game leaves!

While we are trashing bands, someone throw Foo Fighters on the pile. Crap overrated stadium rock. Grohl should have stuck to the drums and stuck with Probot or whatever that band was called. sorry for derail.

I love X too. Aspirations is such a great album, blows anything The Smiths or REM ever did out of the water.
I never heard of Y, though.

I like the Californian X better. Johny Hit And Run Paulene is such a brutal song.

C'mon, Kingput, don't quit. I thought it was all in good fun. I really don't care what music folks listen to.
Anyway, the forums are getting spammed with too many 'domes lately, IMO. After this week, I think I'll retire The Critic for a bit.

R.E.M. is one of the most loathsome things I've ever heard, bested only by U2.

Nothing happened I don't think. I'm pretty sure Kingput was just agreeing with truth (namely that the Smiths are better than REM), and I think Jeff misinterpreted. ("done" = "smiths win decisively and this trashdome is over" not "i'm done with you assholes")

I loathe R.E.O. Speedwagon. I was curious about a later band called R.E.O. Speedealer, but they got slapped down with a Cease & Desist order before I ever got a chance to see a show.

Copper Blue got the full treatment too. They were both cheapies on Amazon MP3 for a while.
I really like F.U.E.L. too. "I Can't Help You Anymore" races through my head all the time.

That's so cool. I'll probably download Copper Blue to my phone from iTunes when I'm within range of a wifi.
The iTunes version of the reissue doesn't include the Beaster EP, but you can get it separately.

That's true. But on the plus side, both remasters have a metric ton of live tracks. They're mostly really good too.
