Bugs: Recent Topics Paging, Uploading Images & Preview (11 Dec 2020)
Recent Topics paging, uploading images and preview bugs require a patch which has not yet been released.
This is part of a series of bloody matches to the death. Show support for your favorite game so it will do better in the fight. You can support it by writing why you think its the better game and more importantly by betting (i.e. voting for) it. Please make it clear for when I check the bets later. You have until Friday when I tally the bets and declare the winner. I will reserve my bet for any tie-breakers.
Although you should be familiar with both games, there is no rule that says you have to have played both of them. The only rule in Trashdome is this;
Two games enter! One game leaves!

Guardians of the Galaxy
Agreed. Deadpool started well, but sagged in the middle as a lot of comic book adaptations do. Guardians was just a joy from beginning to end. One of the best "popcorn" films for sheer entertainment value ever made.

Guardians of the Galaxy is enjoyable many times over. Merchants and Marauders enjoyable to continue the game analogy.
Verdict: Guardians.

Guardians is simple and joyous, a rare combination.
I wasn't a huge fan of either movie, but Guardians is the clear winner.

I bought GotG on blue ray. Deadpool I pirated.
But as a fan of the GotG comics from way back, my vote goes to Guardians.

Deadpool was entertaining but not something I need to watch a second time.

Guardians of the Galaxy's humor holds up better on repeat viewings and it has great action and better music. I was so delighted to hear The Runaways' "Cherry Bomb" that it wasn't until my second viewing that I even registered what they were saying during the montage.
Vote: Guardians of the Galaxy

Deadpool I went in with low expectations, I hate the character and was completely uninterested in the film. Then I saw it and I didn't like it... it was entertaining but I just didn't like it.
Then I tried to watch Guardians of the galaxy again and couldn't get through it... it just bored me. But I did try Deadpool a second time and I finished it.
Even though I didn't like it I did sit through it twice and Guardians, despite liking it, I just couldn't do it a second time.
So I guess I'll reluctantly vote for Deadpool. Not that it matters, Guardians will win anyway.
These last two cinemadomes are all about movies I don't much like. My fault for missing Ex Machina vs. Her.
