Wow, TI3 vs NO had more than twice as many participants as that Descent vs Doom contest. Wonder why we have such wild variability from one to the next.

Just depends on how many have played the game and how many people are logged in and talking that week.

Doom vs Descent is the only battle where I have played both games. And I couldn't decide which was better.

RE: late votes
For me the votes are secondary to the discussion. So if you want to go back to any Trashdome and post your opinion and vote, I for one am still interested in reading both. However, I'm also satisfied with the final results based on the regular FATties who were here that week. Besides its not like there's anything actually at stake here except Michael Barnes' street cred.

RE: winners returning
I purposely try to set the match ups so we have different games to talk about each week to keep it fresh and stretch it out longer. Keep in mind there hasn't even been 10 Trashdome's yet and there's a limited number of AT games that enough people have played to get enough voters for a fight to be worth posting. In fact I pretty much have to start bringing winners back soon to continue. I've even considered altering the rules to allow losers to return in rare cases if it means a good match-up. Feedback?

I don't mind seeing the winners back again, hell even the losers as you say, because to me it's not just what people say about the games in particular but also about how they think of the games based on their competition. Each game can look different depending on what is beside it.
