I played Smallworld last night and - very much against expectation - rather enjoyed it. The potential for diplomacy and being mean to other players is much greater than it initially appears, and the amount of variety in the game is nice as well.

That's what I thought, too, the first three games. It gets boring and repetitive fast.

All the people that complain about Trashdome not always being a fair match can suck it. There's no rule that says I can't put Arkham VS Candyland if I want to. Nobody forces you to click on the thread either. Personally I like reading the comments more than the vote tallies so it doesn't matter if one game gets trounced as long as people say why its better. Particularly for dome's like this one where I've never played one of the games. Reading how it compares to a game I have played gives me a better feel for it than reading reviews usually do. In short, stop taking Trashdome so fucking seriously. Despite the theme its not actually life and death here.
