I got an image of Brutus Beefcake and am patiently awaiting the template
Just thinking about him though, Brutus has very limited trademark moves; of course his 7 point move would be the Sleeper hold, but what of his 4 and 5 point moves? I am thinking that at 4 points it might be a Knee Lift (or perhaps a Test of Strength) and 5 points an Atomic Drop. Can anyone think of any moves that would better suit Beefcake? Also have been thinking a bit about his Strength and Weakness. Not quite sure about those though, but 'Cuttin' and Struttin'' might form either of those.

According to Wikipedia these are the moves that Brutus has used.

I just picked up this game and these look like a great addition! Dabid, you done making these?
Any chance to get the base templates? I'd like to add a few.

I will likely make just a few more (other characters in the works will have matching art style so all from that same video game)... also I have version 2.0 with some tweaks after actually play testing. The files are on my desktop... which had crashed and wouldn't boot after coming home post-Easter weekend. I fooled around with the guts of the old cpu and found out its the RAM. So likely it will be up and running again soon. Then I can post the template and maybe the tweaked wrestlers... I'll likely put them all up in a .zip somewhere.

This all being said my life is a nightmare of time demands right now, so could take a little while.

That is 16 wrestlers, (18 with LoD who are a fun little tag team bonus) and will likely be the end of this project... at least for a while. Would still love to hear feedback if anyone else uses them. My goal was to keep the game fast and furious without too many defensive abilities and I feel like the strengths and weaknesses of my characters are a bit less fiddly that the original game... but likely more powerful as well.

Had a lot of fun with these, Luchador! is a really great game that I can't recommend enough. Its even a bit more fun when you are rooting for a famous move like a Jake the Snake DDT or a Hogan Leg Drop to end a match. Enjoy!

Scrolling through this list, it was nice to see Shawn Michaels added at the end. I'm not a big fan, but am a fan of Brett and thanks to Da Bid Dabid we can play out...The Montreal Screwjob!

I know this project is dead, but if there were ever to be a Wave 2, I'd suggest a couple of females. Wendy Richter and The Fabulous Moolah being the obvious choices here.
