Printing custom decks of cards

Hi,

I might get some money for incorporating games into the classes I teach. I'll probably create a knockoff of Timelines, using events from the History of the English Language course.

Since each class has about 25 people, I can probably get away with 6-12 decks of about 50 cards each. Any suggestions for a site that does this, or other tips?

I wish I could create a card game for my upcoming Postmodern Humanism course. I guess I could make something like Summoner Wars, only use authors like George Saunders and Raymond Carver. I wonder what their special abilities would be.

I like PrintPlayGames.com, and www.printerstudio.com/

I have six decks inbound from PrinterStudio.com. Here's a couple of really bad photos of my really nice first prototype deck:

These are mini-cards, and the deck of 64 cost about $4.50. My order for six 64-card decks and two 96-card decks ran $39.52 total with shipping at no charge. The build tool runs in your browser and is pretty primitive, but it gets the job done. The bleed line is very conservative. Bridge size cards run $9 for 54 cards, but you can print decks of anything from 18 to 252, and you can design the fronts and backs for all of them.

My cards have a very nice feel, great color saturation. The detail is well captured (on the backs at any rate, the fronts are pretty plain).

These are cool. Are they custom duplicates of the included decks from Wings of Glory or some sort of game tweak? Do they feel durable?

Another vote for Printerstudio. Did my Dune cards with them and they are great in color, look, and feel. Also when they sent my order it was incomplete and I figured the Hong Kong geography and language barrier would be a nightmare sorting it out. One email and they just re-sent my correct order with no fuss at all.

They replace half inch chits with flash in the center of each side. (Side flash is evil.) This is for the WWII version of the game. Don't like 'em. So I made cards. They're due to arrive next week.
