Ended up backing both Dark Venture and Far Away.

I thought Claustrophobia would be a no-brainer to back but this new edition ain't lookin' so hot. They somehow managed to make the information design worse and create even more table sprawl. And what's with the use of white all over the place? White mats, white cards, red icons. Yuck. Nothing new in the gameplay videos. I'm starting to think Catacombs might pull me away from this (got rid of my first edition long ago).

Catacombs third edition is a pretty good time. But if you're flicking I'd be tempted to do seal team flix instead. I think the flicking twists are more creative and just imho I like the flicking mechanic as a coop mechanism.

im currently being really tempted by Pipeline from Capstone Games. i really like the sound of the spatial puzzle/automation aspect married to the crunchy economic stuff. im not sure if i could get it played enough to make it worth backing. tempting though.

Me too; I'm in. As I watched a solo playthrough I wanted to grab the cards and start playing, so that was my sign.

I was initially considering Catacombs, then watched SU&SD flick some discs around for a bit and remembered why I let my original version go. Besides, I have Seal Team Flix.

If I'm going to drop $130-200 I think the product needs more game than Catacombs can bring. I mean I enjoyed Catacombs back in the day and I like the new art, but I just don't get the Cadillac pricing and production of that thing especially if you want any of the expansion material.

Thanks, Kickstarter (he says as he backs another giant box of plastic & cards).
