That's been fun to follow. I pulled out of Mythic's big Monsterpocalypse KS (I'm increasingly glad I did) and my only iron left in the crowdfunding fire is Cataclysm. My payment for that last Cthulhu Wars project has been floating in the ether long enough to get a college degree. I can't wait to see the platform fall by the wayside.

Sorely tempted as well, seen a lot of good press on it.

I’ve played it a few times and really liked it. But, keep in mind, I also really like pick-up-and-deliver games.
The one concern that some people have had is that the PvP aspect might be too swingy. Haven’t played enough to make up my mind on that. From my few plays it seems like attacking another play is high risk, but at the end of the game, when you are behind with nothing to lose… a lucky roll can win the game. Although it could be argued that everyone should play more defensively and build up their canons, but on the other hand I feel like that would make the game more scripted and less fun and freewheeling.
Personally, I’ve had enough fun playing that losing to a Hail Mary attack doesn’t bother me, and I rather like that kind of drama. But if you are the sort of person who gets salty about that sort of thing, it is something to consider.

Pricing is up. I'm skipping but it's not the worst in the world even though all in with all sagas is highish.

I believe that's true for the base game. The Saga expansions seem to be split into two halves; one half require repeat plays to get the most value out of them but probably closer to something like Oath than a proper campaign game. The second half consists of more content and rules like you'd expect an expansion to. In addition to that there appears to an actual campaign game which seems totally optional. It's kind of a confusing product to be honest.

The price of everything is holding me back. An absolutely fantastic play of Merchants & Marauders at Gen Con really reaffirmed my love of that design. I think I'm holding out on Dead Reckoning for now. Eager to see what people here think of it though.
