I backed some Lovecraft-themed playing cards. One deck is general Mythos and the other is Mountains of Madness themed. I'll likely cancel my pledge before it ends because I don't really want to spend $40 on two decks of cards I will never use. I love the art on them but as the people I would play card games with are serious card players, they aren't going to want to use a stylized deck.

In the pre-Kickstarter-minis-game days I remember unique playing-card decks being kind of a popular thing. The funding goals were minimal, and no one got super mad, or expected mountains of plastic crack stretch goals. Kinda stoked about the free full color 40 page art book included in pledges for the new Dungeon Degenerates stuff. Normally art books dont excite me much, but the art is such a big part of this game that it should be cool.

Oh you're right, I just saw an email about it that looked like it was a thing that was happening. I don't really follow along to active campaigns closely

Decided to impulse-back
Witchbound
which I came across in the last few minutes it was live. It’s a cutesy Nintendo-esque point’n’click rpg in book form, move around the ‘open-world’ maps interacting with NPCs and collecting stuff that gives you more interaction options, resolving quests along the way. I quite enjoyed Cantaloop which does something similar, although Witchbound has a far more straightforward approach to the mechanisms of play and I daresay the presentation has broader appeal.

Not a project yet, but BGG has a new entry for a third Nemesis game, this one looks based on the Aliens movie with Marines.

I Googled "new NEMESIS game" but couldn't find anything. Any other links besides the pending BGG entry ? The last new game I submitted took almost a fucking month to approve on BGG.
