We've been talking about them a bit on the Discord. Apparently, Dan Thurot LOVES Iliad, but thought Ichor was just OK. My problem with them is that they are 2-player, which I have much less opportunity to engage in these days.

Upcoming this year that I have definite interest in (OK, will pledge):
Blood - standee edition, looks like a lighter version of Darkest Dungeon with interesting card combat. gamefound.com/en/projects/lms/blood_lms
Decided to drop this - they weren't offering any standee versions for the expansions so I would have been getting a quite expensive (once shipping and 20% VAT was added) core standee-only game, I have Darkest Dungeon so even though it is a longer game I'm not paying a lot of coin just to get a lite version of it.
Also waiting for the Cyberpunk 2077 - The Board Game gamefound.com/en/projects/go-on-board/cy...-2077-the-board-game project to show up this year, it looks interesting so far.

This is preying upon my collector goblin mind. I'm trying to remain rational and remember I recently unloaded all of my Unmatched collection but TMNT is a much better license than Marvel for my interests.

And then they can team up with dinosaurs and Daredevil. What could possibly go wrong?

They have apparently done a HISS tank and a Dragonfly helicopter, but these things are 3 feet long for 6" figures, who has this kinda space?? If they ever do that WHALE hovercraft it would be 4 feet long!

Then came the very interesting Story of Many, this does look very good but is just too close to an rpg for me and I have a lot of games doing the rpg-boardgame hybrid thing so another one that wouldn't get played, so not backed as well.
Finally it is Awaken realms BIG game for the year Lands of Evershade, another narrative game in (apparently) a massive world they have created and that is also a bit more down the rpg route than their previous awesome efforts (ISS Vanguard, Etherfields, Tainted Grail) but, as for Story of Many, I'm wondering if it is to far down the rpg path for me to really want to play. And then they have put up a (IMO) disastrous playthru video of it with three 'old uncle' types from the Dicetower who looked disinterested and were just saying cringy stuff - that one video has moved me from a dead cert to back a few months back to 'lucky if I'll back the $1 option'.
I have had three attempts to watch it so far and haven't even got half way - see what any of you guys think Lands of Evershade prototype playthrough - but for me unless they get a new video out that doesn't make me slash my wrists and fall asleep at the same time they may have lost me.
I do have one that is exciting me for next year though, from my second favourite design team (who brought Aeon Trespass: Odyssey) Into the Unknown - Enormity .

For a moment I wondered if someone was re-making the classic Alcatraz board game, but with trendy anthropomorphic animal characters...alas, not the case.
I will 100% agree with the hole in head analogy, however.
