One more Magic hot take: if they stopped creating new content tomorrow, it’d still be the most popular card game played for awhile. They’ve made so much already that there’s plenty to keep people busy. Tournament grinding is really such a small part of activity these days, at least from my perspective.

Hot take: I haven't always been the best F:AT citizen. Or Boardgamegeek for that matter. I've learned some lessons lately about online behavior and let's cut it short and say I get it. So sorry if I was a dick.

You can be a dick ( by one persons definition ) on one site and be a hero on a different site for the same behaviour. Don't apologize.

Just because some (many?) people think you're a hero, doesn't mean you weren't a dick. Don't let peer pressure push you to behave badly.

When I was younger, we didn’t have poutine but fries with cheese and gravy was popular and delicious.
I went to stay with a friend in San Francisco for a while and it was a big surprise to me that nobody there had heard of this combination, nor of pizza burgers.

I think he means that doing something like calling out someone on certain sites for something like a misogynistic micro-aggression would get you labeled as a dick sjw with no sense of humor, but on another site would make you a hero.

I've seen what's sold as a pizza steak; ground beef patty shaped to fit on a sub bun, with pizza sauce and cheese, on a sub bun. Put it under the broiler to melt the cheese.

I have a hot take: I really dislike Eddie Vedder as a vocalist and it causes me actual discomfort that he's the last of the big Seattle singers left. Like seriously, did we lose some sort of deal with Satan where we lost Cornell AND Staley? I know we have Mudhoney, The Melvins, stuff like that. But I mean the big ones.
