Had some Sam Adams Cherry Wheat last week. Its an okay summer beer, but I only bought it because I wasn't at my usual store that has a lot more variety.

Have you tried the Sam Adams Cranberry that comes out around Oct-Dec? I'm not sure what to make of it, on one hand I don't mind the flavor and actually enjoy it a bit, but on the other it just doesn't feel like I'm drinking a beer.

The other day I busted out some Soporo which was always tasty.

Unibrou makes my favorite Canadian Beers that I believe stand up to anything made in Belgium or Ireland or anywhere in the world for that matter. Robert Charlebois was a great Quebecois folk singer/seperatist who started a great beer company that I know many of you have appreciated. I've been drinking Chambly Noire an awful lot along with the others in the series. This is their link

Awesome company. Great beers!

I've also been drinking quite a bit of St. Peter's

www.stpetersbrewery.co.uk/range/BottledBeers.asp?CatID=1

They have a ginger Beer I really like.

When I was in Brazil recently there was an interesting little beer there called Caracu that I've never seen outside of the country. It was dark and had very little carbonation and tasted unlike anything I had had before. I don't think I'd drink it very often but when you're staying in some shithole in the middle of the amazon with garbage to choose from it is a welcome respite.

I'll second this. I've been a fan of Trois Pistoles for a long time. I also like a few others they make.

Paulaner Hefeweiss and Tanners Jack. I love Paulaner, probably my favorite beer, even better than the other more exotic harder to find german weissbiers in my opinion. Tanner's jack isn't bad but honestly I'd rather have Old Speckled Hen.

I am all about hops these days.

My standard less expensive, always in the fridge beer is Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Very Consistent and always good.

My #1 drink it when I can is Dogfish Head 60min IPA

I have also been enjoying most of the beers that the Stone and Lagunitas Breweries put out.

No, but I probably will now. There's only a few Sam Adams beers I actually like though.

I mentioned La Maudite in the other beer/Weeks thread. Uni are probably my favorite micro brewery. Nothing like putting back a litre or two of Fin du Monde (If you can!).

+1 It's one of the best pale ales out there, and you can get it pretty much anywhere. I'm not too sure about the less expensive part, though. It's pretty pricey around here.

My recent favorite is Breckenridge Vanilla Porter Every time a bell rings an angel drinks a bottle, I'm pretty confident that is true.

My East Coast Beer Brother!

I tried the Dogfish 90 Minute IPA and it sort of smelled and tasted like an old lady's perfume. I assume the 60 is better.

I spent the weekend in Chico and had lunch at Sierra Nevada. We ordered the sampler of 16 or 18 beers (can't remember). Torpedo and their Pale Ale are still my favorites but all were good except whatever their spiced ale was. All you people who like your fruit and spiced beers are poor misguided souls, leaving the road of water, malt, hops, and yeast.

Newcastle. Bass. Guinness(when I'm hungry).

I liked that Dog Headed stuff that Malloc drinks as well. . .
