That movie should be played 24/7 nowadays.
Each passing day it becomes more and more relevant.

Traitors is a tense crime drama, and a timely one for this specific moment in history in the United States. Many American men are absolutely clueless about the abuse that the women around them face. The creepy stares, the cheesy lines, the groping, the bullying, the assaults and the rapes. Women know, and sometimes they try to tell us. Other times, they just can't deal because they know that many men will dismiss them outright, or worse, slut-shame them. Things are somewhat worse for women in other countries, like Morocco, and this movie sheds some light.

John Cusack plays a less talented Bill Murray. Evan Peters plays a young Jesse Eisenberg, right down to the hair style and color. Emma Roberts chews on the scenery and goes too broad with the comedy. Adult World wants to be a funny coming of age story, but it falls short on the comedy and relies too heavily on banal platitudes. It's not a bad movie, just an average one.

The first has been available for some months. 'Ritual.' It's based off the book of the same name from Adam Neville. Middle aged Brits go hiking in Sweden. It does not go well. Well acted, well directed, and the FX is well designed and employed.
The second dropped onto the service last week. 'The Endless.' I went into it with full skepticism because the Netflix summary sentence sounds positively stupid. I'm glad I stuck with it. It's a slow burn until it's not. The last 1/3 is just mind boggling. The director duo has another film done a few years ago. I immediately sought it out, and will view once my wife falls asleep. 'Spring.'

I love Red Hill which sets a western in a modern Australian small town. The Proposition is the more acclaimed Australian western but I like Red Hill more.ChristopherMD wrote: I watched Quigley Down Under which I haven't seen for about 25 years. Its held up pretty well. Alan Rickman is always a great villain and it's cool seeing Australia shot Western-style.

I'm a big Benson and Moorhead fan.
I think Spring is their best film but The Endless comes really close. Now that you've seen The Endless you should probably see Resolution (their first film.)
Their next film has known actors in it - Jamie Dornan (from the Fall) and Anthony Mackie (aka The Falcon.) It will be interesting to see what they do with a real budget.

Highly recommended. It's a slow burn but it pays off.

Yes, this is a case where the destination is better than the journey. Journey is fine, but the ending really makes it worthwhile.

Funny to see Thor as Charles Manson standin though.
