There's a lot of shit I want... a bunch of expansions. But now I don't know if there's a new version of robinson crusoe coming out, if there is I don't want to get a 1st edition expansion version. Also thinking getting Argent or maybe this new Ignacy pirate joint.
So last night I was at a big game night, and a guy was there selling a bunch of old stuff. Earlier that night I had sold a copy of Elysium for $30 and handed it off to my buyer at the game night, so I had some cash on me. I thought it good to peruse what he had.
And there it was. A copy of Star Wars: Epic Duels.
I said, "I'm afraid to ask, but how much are you asking for Epic Duels?"
He said, "Well, I know it's going for a lot of money, but honestly I am just trying to get rid of these games. I'd take $40 for it."
Me: "Aw, too bad, I only have $30 on me."
Him: "Give me $30, and it's yours."
And that, boys and girls, was how I changed my copy of Elysium into a copy of Star Wars: Epic Duels.
Big birthday order, family always gives me GCs for games:
Chaos in the Old World Expansion (could go out of print w/Sigmar world, wanted to make sure I had it)
Robinson Crusoe expansion (very excited for this one, RC has been getting another surge in plays with me)
Eldritch Horror Foresaken Lore (to fill out the base decks, dunno if I'll need want anything more)

After tinkering around with Arena of the Planeswalkers I decided to get into Heroscape. I just purchased Rise of the Valkyrie, Swarm of Marro, some extra terrain and a cute expansion with gladiators and Charlie's Angels.

I've read that the systems mix fine, if you just leave out the card play. I haven't tried that myself, but is there any reason not to keep your extra dudes for more options for all your battles?

I remembered that I was moving when the Pax Pamir pre-order started, so I had ignored it.
Bought one and the double-sided Pax [Pamir|Porfiriana] board. I like my small-box Porfiriana just fine, so I'm not stumping for the deluxe edition. Someday they'll arrive with a weird German post address and I'll be happy.
Now I'm wondering if I need a Horned Rat expansion, even though I've never played my copy of CitOW. Damn you Sax!

I hear you, Not Sure, re: Pax. I'm fine with my low rent original version but I would like that board for it.
So many games I own that I have to get back to playing, that is definitely one of them. It is just too complicated and aggressive for the local folks I play with.
Since I really wanted Pax Pamir (the theme is perfect for me) it was a no-brainer to add the board into the order. I don't know if I'd order it separately.
If anything, I understand it's pretty important for Pax Pamir to keep the areas straight, so the fact that it's Porfiriana on the other side is just a freebie.
