Despite being behind the times and around 1000 games behind most of you here I actually feel like I can chill out on buying games for a while after my last purchases. Hopefully this feeling will last a few weeks... Something on F:AT always crops up that sounds interesting though so it's hard.
Hannibal looks pretty cool. I still also want to try Stronghold but that's still not out. Now I realize that I don't have War of the Ring and there's a sale at Cardhaus... Out of stock, whew that was close.

I almost bought Summoner Wars on my way home from work today. I'm not sure I'll be able to resist tomorrow.

I picked up the Cosmic Incursion expansion last week. It's a big deal, because it'll be one of my last game purchases for a while. We have a baby on the way in a few weeks, so game-buying (and playing, for that matter) will probably slow down for quite a while.

For parents of newborns I recommend Delve the Dice Game, which plays in about the time of a four-ouncer. Print & Play, it requires just a one page printout per session, plus a few dice. One handable, roll on the burp cloth to keep from startling the baby. I have a zip file of all the early maps if you need it.

Sag,
I'm intrigued by this. I like small-ish dice games that are actual games (like Roll Through the Ages). Go ahead and e-mail me those files to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Thanks man.

The man got me Last Night on Earth: Survival of the Fittest for Valentine's Day. I gave him a Snickers bar, because I totally forgot it was Valentine's Day. I'm not sure how I manage to get away with this shit.

I think its because you are a woman, Uba. That's a powerful position to have! Use it for good, not evil.

I just had two remarkable trade offers fall in my lap, about ten hours apart. The first was MicroMutants: Evolution in exchange for Mr. Jack. The second was Valor & Victory plus Target Arnhem: Across Six Bridges for Zooloretto with four of the baby expansions with it plus Numbers League: Adventures in Addiplication.
I'm done with Mr. Jack after seven plays, and Zooloretto just never gripped me. Numbers League was a complete flop with my kids.
So I picked up a solid trash game, a 500 piece print & play and an out-of-print for about $10 postage and handling. It's turning out to be one hell of a week.

I just bought Gonzaga, Lost Cities, and S'Quarrels.
I really need to get a copy of Giganten and/or Assault on Hoth. I really want those 2.

After getting and checking out Chaos In the Old World, I am a bit disappointed. Oh, I have not given up on it, but it is not what I expected. The good thing is that I got it cheaper than most people did (35 bucks, shipping included).
I guess the game I am REALLY looking forward to that should arrive at my house in a day or 3 is Incursion, the Weird War II game with nazis, zombies, and armored walking power suits.
I don't know, call be wacky, but that has "FUN" written all over it. It huge neon letters!

Sorry to hear you're not happy with it. What I'm hearing is that the graphic design really hurts your experience a lot - I'm just fine with it, and being able to track who has majority corruption in areas helps make the game have a lot more sense.
In other news, I was able to trade a few small games (Dragon's Gold, UFS cards) for the A Game of Thrones boardgame. I'm pretty happy with the deal, but is it necessary to get the expansion(s) as well? Number of players is not an issue, but I hear the base game has some unbalance, and if the expansion improves it in a big way I might have to get it immediately.
