The base game only really supports 5 players.

You will need ports from the first expansion, otherwise after a few games once Greyjoy learns their trick Lannister is fucked.
I wouldn't use any other expansion stuff 'till you are familiar with the game and in the mood to mix it up.

You can always just read the rules for ports on FFG's site and home make your own ports (they are just counters you place on the board - essentially they are board spaces) for now if you don't want to buy an expansion yet.

Found a copy of Tales from the Arabian Nights. Not been able to try it out yet, but look forward to it.

A propos to this week's trashdome, I recently found a guy on TOS who will trade me his copy of Nexus Ops (new in shrink) for my copy of Zooloretto. Love me a good trade.

Aside from the upcoming small box expansion to Arkham Horror, I have no plans to buy any more games at this time. Last fall, I bought Space Hulk for $90 and then spent another $90 on painting supplies and related stuff, so I'm just not interested in spending much more right now. I will probably also buy the Cosmic Encounter expansion later this year.

I plan on getting the next Dominion expansion (Alchemy) but that's about it. I was holding out hope that the final "mystery box" from FFG would be Re-Dune, but it wasn't, so there isn't anything else on my radar for the time being.

Nexus Ops is just about the last out-of-print game that I really want to get my hands on, so I am very excited about it. A lot of my AT stuff isn't played as much as I'd like because of the time involved, so Nexus Ops sounds like a great choice for me.

I was depressed about missing Avery's Trashfest South so in some kind of complete insanity I called up the game store and ordered Summoners War it should arrive on Wednesday. At least I can enter the contest. I'm pushing for the race of Euroweenies they roll -1 on the interaction chart and +1 on the spread sheet chart.

Summoner Wars rocks. I need to get cracking on my contest submission.

Well, I sold of Lord of the Rings plus Friends and Foes expansion (still got Sauron for sale folks!) and Arkham Horror (a tragedy I know) so I've got some cash in my pocket. Runewars looks real tempting, but so do War of the Ring and Middle-Earth Quest.

I also got a trade proposal of my Battleline and For Sale for War for Edadh. Mulling that over.

I'm going to echo Shellhead here and say that for the first time since getting into this hobby, I've got nothing currently on my TO BUY list. I might get the new Arkham small box and new Cosmic expansion if the chance comes up, but they're not high priorities.

I would say the only game that I'd love to get right now is Richard Sivel's MARIA. But I'm waiting to buy that as a bundle with Guns of Gettysburg. And since we haven't got a release date for GoG, I'll just wait.

Just ordered both starters of Summoner Wars. It looks awesome. As a former CCG junkie, I think this will work well for me. Might be a trick to convince the wife to play it. She thinks fantasy stuff makes it a "boy game". I bought and played Liebe and Intrige for her so she owes me.
