I bought No Man's Sky. Good so far. Inventory management a drag. It is doing a lot of stuff at once. Frame rate chugs a bit on the base ps4.

Xbox store sale is on atm
I grabbed Divinity OS - Enhanced Ed for $10 - because a friend loves it to death and says that it will make me fall in love with RPG's again.
Batman Telltale games bundle - $17 or $18 - I love Tales from The Borderlands - Anyone play/enjoy these?
I actually liked the Batman telltale stuff. PSplus gave it away for free a few moons ago. But then again I do enjoy games that equate to interactive movies, and telltale stuff is surely that. Not sure almost 20 bones is worth it though. YMMV.
I'd buy Divinity for that price. I really wish I had more time to explore that, but all the detail inside of it makes it not for me sadly. Not for $60 anyways. But for a tenner, I'd fart around in it and then become sad that I don't have free time.
Personally, I like the sales for online downloads. I've gotten some good deals on games I enjoy. I just wish there was more stuff that fell into my wheelhouse.

I think at 30 it is worth it to me. But read up on it a little first, it is a *very* freeform solo explore game. It has a story but in general it is very self guided without super strong goals and rewards.
I've heard it referred to as the perfect podcast/audiobook game. That makes sense to me. It is very chill.

I am only on my third planet and I have only touched a relatively small bit of the first world.
Does everyone start on a toxic world?
The planet I just landed on had a medium predator killing these smaller prey animals. Nature.

It was a really amazing update to the series but they did fuck it up with all the explaining and "story" elements which got in the way of my flavor. Why do they think that they need to add that shit? It's dumb. I mean it's fucking DOOM. Let the environments tell the story and let it be wierd and mysterious. You don't need a bunch of pseudo-sciency rationale and some asshole squawking into your comm all the time. If you can't buy into the premise then the game isn't for you anyway. That's about the only complaint I have about DOOM. Actually, they should have added random backspawns to keep you on your toes when you're searching for loot. Not an annoying amount but the occasional surprise would have been ideal.
Finding all the secrets was a challenge. I was pretty thourough in my coverage but I still missed a fair amount, especially the classic level secrets. I did manage to complete all of the challenge missions though and some of those were a bitch. The pistol skill one(s) were hard for me because I seldom used it and didn't upgrade it fully. Anyway, really looking forward to the new one.

I jumped back on a month or so ago. All it did is remind me how bad I am. I do really enjoy the co-op mode they have.

as you can see, one of the perks is that you can now use more exclamation marks liberally.
