Sky Full of Holes is their wonderful, final album. It has become my pandemic sound track. My kids call it "sad dad songs"

Too funny. Been doing something similar while working from my kitchen, except I'm filling my days by listening to full shows: theperfumedgarden.blogspot.com/

I guess I never realized he scattered the session tracks throughout his show. He played so much good random stuff.

And if you want some sameness, the 1990 Festive Fifty is something pretty amazing:

I saw Jonathan Richman as a guest on some Youtube channel, and he seemed like a really interesting and weird guy. So after listening to "That Summer Feeling" about 30 times over the last month, I'm using our Amazon Echo to listen to his most popular songs on shuffle, while it rains outside and the evening arrives.

Do you long for her or for the way you were?

My daughter sent me this link the other day. Christian James Hand is a DJ on 95.5 KLOS in Los Angeles and he breaks down different songs track by track. What I've listened to so far has been entertaining and enlightening.

Thanks for this. I love this stuff. There's a guy on Youtube that does the same thing, and I found his analysis of More Than A Feeling to be fascinating. So I went straight to that one on this KLOS site and it proved there is still more to learn. Really makes modern music look like kindergarten.

The guy on the Internet has done maybe a dozen songs, KLOS has done 100+ from the looks of it. I'll be busy for a while. Love this stuff!

I assume you are talking about Rick Beato. I like his what makes this song great and his sort of history of production where he talks about things like how to mic a drum set.

I do love Boston. The first concert I went to was Boston during the Don't Look Back tour. The Red Rocker Sammy Hagar opened for them.
Last edit: 14 Jun 2020 19:30 by Brewmiester. Reason: added the Boston note

I did try to make ELO Out of the Blue first but I couldn't get anyone to drive me to Murfreesboro. I was even willing to spring the $10 for their ticket!

We started a DCC Chained Coffin campaign the other night and today I ran across a link to music for the Shudder Mountains. A Finnish band doing an AC/DC cover featuring anvil and accordian.
