Scandinavians seem to have an unhealthy level of interest in hillbillies.

The most on-the-nose soundtrack selection award goes to...

Also, in the Tainted Grail thread Andi Lennon talked about singing drummers being bad. I think the guy in Blood Red Shoes does a decent job at it, (although he's not the only singer in this 2 piece band).

Who are the singing drummers?

Phil Collins from Genesis
Karen Carpenter from The Carpenters.
Sheila E.
Dave Clark.
David Lovering (Pixies) sings on La La Love You.
Jimmy Marinos from The Replacements.
Ringo Starr sings, but also kind of sucks.
Dave Grohl--did he ever sing while behind a kit? He switched to guitar, yeah?
Don Henley--again, did he sing behind a kit? I think so.

Buddy Miles and Levon Helm are two more notable drummers that sang lead.

Something new to me that I never knew I needed to hear. I have no idea how to describe this - Steppes Metal? Mongolian Folk Metal? It's strangely hypnotic, an odd blend of throat singing, metal and folk strings. I love that one guy has a guitar shaped like a recurved bow, it's a fun parallel to all those axe-shaped axes.

I need to go check out the full mix now that it's out.

Did you see the per-year video mixes? Those are awesome. Just like the 80s started in 1979 (?), they don't end until at least 1990:

(91-94 are supposed to be scheduled for the next few weeks)

Meant to post this yesterday, but it was a busy day. Anyway, Night Club is usually a little too derivative to mention aside from their striking videos, but this song is beyond just Halloween and a big 2020 mood:
