Anyone else watching this show? It's had me hooked as a guilty pleasure for 5 seasons now. Never really know who is safe or what to expect from it. The characters sometimes do out-of-character dumb shit for the sake of drama but other than that its been fun stuff if you're into YA post-apoc settings.

I didn’t like the first season (the half I watched). Seemed like a cross between Lost and Hunger Games, with a side of Lord of the Flies

Lord of the Flies maybe but nothing like Lost, imo, and only shares a genre with Hunger Games.

We watched the first three seasons, but could not make it through the first season four episode. It just seemed so sloppy. I cannot recall what we had watched immediately prior, which might have made it seem worse by comparison.

Of the three seasons we watched, the second season was definitely the strongest as it was relatively tightly structured and had an interesting playoff between three factions.

It has been wildly inconsistent, but I did enjoy Season 2 a lot, and I think that this season has been quite fun. I have enjoyed it quite a bit overall. Recommended!

My 18 year old daughter watches it. It’s on in my living room enough for me to know it’s a CW show, and it’s another genre soap opera, like most the of their offerings, and I am not their target market.

Pretty much my experience. Season 2 was great and Season 3 was a pretty good concept that just got way off the rails (Star Trek TNG episode The Game for an entire season, essentially). I don't remember how season 3 ended and I watched the first episode of season 4 and didn't care at all. Haven't gone back.

4th season gets better as it goes along leading up to the death wave and (minor spoiler)

I think I have seen maybe two seasons, but can't recall anymore. There is a lot of good stuff in it, but I just hate how the showrunners go out of their way to have the people break character in order to create "drama" and "tension".

My advice to noobs, is to just watch the 1st & 2nd seasons and then just imagine the show was cancelled after that.

I just couldn't get into third season. I guess these things are better to binge, because I lost any interest in keeping up by tuning into CW on a weekly basis.
