Magic happened...iRig2

So, I didn’t use my iRig almost at all because it seemed dodgy as fuck. I plugged the guitar into it and then the rig into the iPad, and then the phono 1/4” of the iPad into the amp.

It almost never worked. It was a pain in the nuts and made playing unfun.

Then I lost my iPhone headphone adapter. I wanted to use my phone because the pad was KIA (battery). So, I plugged in the phono jack into the iRig instead

It worked immediately. No fucking about. It just worked.

I’m normally very technically oriented but I fucked that up massively.

So the Irig2 works perfectly with your iphone and the guitar, but the ipad was a mess?

Yes, but the problem wasn’t the iRig, it was the fact that you’re supposed to plug the output from the rig into the rig itself, not the stereo jack in the iPad itself.
