A spy thriller set in WWII. Well respected. George Peppard starred in the film. I'll finish this one on my commute tonight.

I'm getting my dad a Kindle for Christmas. He's a big history buff, mostly WWII/Civil War. Well, that and Tom Clancey/WEB Griffin, but I'm sure he's already read all of their stuff. If you/he don't mind, I'll help him exchange emails.
How exactly does the loaning work? I'm pretty sure I read you can only lend the book out to a person once, but is there a limit to how many people you can lend to?

I loaned one book this past summer just to see how it worked and it appeared that it was not loanable for a period of time after it returned. It's reloanable now, so at least for some you can loan multiple times. I don't know if it varies by book or if there is a standard policy.
