Werewolf Society?

I'm doing some research, and was wondering if anyone could recommend any books that have a lot of werewolf lore. I'm mainly interested in things that describe society / class hierarchy, etc. much like some of the Drizzt books detail Drow society.

Would the Werewolf : the Apocalypse RPG be a good book?

Thanks!

If you want the real deal, someone gave this one to me:
Lycanthropy Reader

More about the folklore, but interesting nonetheless.

Werewolf: the Forsaken might be more useful. It was the core Werewolf book for the rebooted World of Darkness, so it's accessible and not cluttered up with metagame events. You should be able to find it online for cheap, since the new World of Darkness was ignored by most White Wolf fans, because they were heavily invested in the old World of Darkness.
