Since remote gaming has now become a significant part of how we play board games, we have added a short cut to this forum in the menu on the left.

You can now pre-order my book

Hey Matt, which image was it that you needed from the American school for your book? Is it one of the ones you can see in the sample pages on Amazon?

Got my copy.

This is really gorgeous. The art direction on this thing is beautiful. Very impressive.

I'm not sure. I think the one I used, in the end, was the one of someone playing Diplomacy in the classroom.

Glad you like the book. Anyone worked out which F:ATtie got a mention in the credits yet?

Will your book tell me what "Ameritrash" is?

Amazon won't tell me if this doesn't have a release date, is pre-ordered, or is out of stock. What's the deal? Sag already has a copy.

I’m an exceptional case. Mine was not through Amazon.

I’ll admit I could not figure it out either,

I asked the publisher what was going on, and there's been a delay but stock should be with the US soon. Here's the reply:

"I’ve checked and can now confirm that shipping titles to our distributor in the US took longer than usual but they now have stock, which is showing on Amazon.com and the delivery to customer will improve soon (it’s currently showing 1-3 weeks - but this is just an Amazon issue). Also they’ve just ordered more stock as the initial order has sold through."

Amazon has it marked as #1 New Release in Board Games, but I don't know how stiff the competition is. If they're already re-ordering more stock that's a good thing.

It's really an impressive looking book. The layout is gorgeous.

I knew I shouldn't have quoted the reply verbatim.

In truth, I have no idea what the sales numbers are like. Apparently, it still takes some weeks for the data to feedback from shops to publishers and authors.

I get weekly updates on eBook sales from Amazon, but physical book sales are reported like every 90 days or something ridiculous like that.

After getting lost in the mail for a while this showed up today. Its a nice looking, high quality book. Of course I immediately checked the index for the Ameritrash entry but there was none. Noticed there were entries for some websites and figured that surely a mention of the greatest website that the author himself wrote countless articles for would get plugged. Nothing. The book feels incomplete now. :-(
