I finally have my finger on the pulse of irony:
While sitting out my sixth or seventh ban from BGG for telling some passive-aggressive cunt that he was being an asshole, I was awarded a Golden Meeple microbadge.

Yeah, I had to look up what it was and it hit me like a brick that getting an award on BGG while sitting out a temp ban is quite humorous.

Have there been other FATties who have been GotW? I've often thought it'd be fun to just keep it in this website's circle for as long as possible. We could even start a thread about who gets to be the nest GotW.
They probably have ways to keep us from doing that, because they like to find ways to keep people from having fun.

I don't think so. It may have been mentioned as a possibility but I don't recall any major drama.
Others who have been GOTW off the top of my head: Ken was for sure, Frank of course, I think a couple of the war gamer cats, can't recall user names off hand. I believe Chapel was as well. Less frequent Fatties, jatoha, pdclose. Probably a fair amount of others I am forgetting. I stopped paying much attention to GOTW awhile ago. *shrug*

We should have a F:ATtie Friday, where one F:ATtie gets his day in the sun. If nothing else, it would let us get to know one another a little better.

I think that sounds cool, but we should definitely make sure it isn't the clique-ish thing that Geek of the Week is. But yeah, I'd love to get to know fellow F:ATties better.
Hmm...maybe instead of nominations, we could just take the names of anyone who wants to take part, and then pick one randomly each week. I dunno, just thinking outloud of ways to make it NOT a popularity thing.
