Bugs: Recent Topics Paging, Uploading Images & Preview (11 Dec 2020)
Recent Topics paging, uploading images and preview bugs require a patch which has not yet been released.
What my SECRET SATAN sent me!
Safari Jack and Kill Doctor Lucky by Cheapass games, Aapep and Glory to Rome by Cambridge games, a sealed Mythos deck, Illuminati Deluxe Edition, Lord of the Rings: The Confrontation, and Arkham Horror : Curse of the Dark Pharaoh expansion.
I have been wanting the Dark Pharaoh expansion for a while.
All in all, I was very pleased. Thanks Satan!!

After reading this thread, should I hope for a kind Satan who disregarded the spirit of secret Satan and sent something awesome? Or should I expect that I will soon be trading Blood War cards with Sagrilarus?

It is not advisable to put Secret Satan gifts on any surface which may stain. Secret Satan gifts should only be kept in well ventilated rooms. Wear proper safety equipment when interacting with Secret Satan gifts. DO NOT TIP SECRET SATAN GIFT ON SELF!edulis wrote: There are some seriously nice Satans out there. Although, I'm hearing chatter about some yet-to-be-delivered (or shipped) gifts...there's one that is just positively diabolical that one of our prominent F:ATties will be recieving.

I know exactly who sent it to me, because they had to put their name on the shipping/customs declaration. And I'm very much appreciative of their generosity, and the time they took to put a little exploration puzzle in the box, and of the fact they were astute enough to send me games I really wanted but would likely never have bought for myself.

And you can't sleep at night
Feels like another mule's kickin' in my stall
And that's evil
Evil
Going out baby
I said I'm warning you brothers
You'd better watch your happy home
Watch your happy
Watch your happy, happy home
Thank you, Dave Wyndorf, for these words

He did a much better job on the Satan theme. The box contained two full sets of Mage Knight starter sets. I have never played Mage Knight, but the kids already started to play with the minis, thus leaving my handpainted stuff alone. Plus I am a big fan of HirstArts molds and have a dungeon for them to live in... heck I might even try the game.
Also in the box was the dead on the theme Twilight Creation's Dante's inferno. Not only does it look pretty awful, it has Lucifer right there on the cover. Not being secret.
And then the real stinker Overlord: 2 player . Coming in with a "2" rating over at the geek. That is lower than Tic-Tac-Toe. It looks to be a bad attempt at ripping off Titan, complete with seperate boards for combat and upgrading monsters. Monsters are stickers on poker chips and photocopied maps. OH! and the rule book. It is possiblly the worst written thing I have ever read. It is written as if two people on shrooms were coming up with a game design:
"First thing you will see is letters. Letters mean things, D is for a ten sided dice. C is for an 8 sided. AA would roll two d4S. Then if there is a box around one number it is for movement. Letters are for levels." Not an exact quote, but pretty damn close.
Thanks Satan!
