Kurt Vonnegut on Profanity

I should have clarified that was from Hocus Pocus, but the original thread was about something else entirely and I edited it as a joke, so I can't make any claims to integrity.

When I'm tired and driving I drop the F-bomb like Curtis Lemay dropped fire bombs on Japan, and I'm still Mormon. So something to work on.

Replied by Vlad on topic Kurt Vonnegut on Profanity
I would've sworn the quote was from Deadeye Dick... guess I need to give KV a re-read.
He was my favorite writer for many many years. Slaughter-House 5, Cat's Cradle and Sirens of Titan mentioned on this thread are his best works, in my opinion.
The thing is, the older I become, the less I share Vonnegut's vision of the world, but weirdly - unlike other authors with whose vision I don't agree - I actually like him, as a person and an author, even more. He was a good man and he influenced a lot of people in a good way. Still sad that he passed away. So it goes.

Dropped the F-bomb this morning as family members kept trying to enter my bedroom as I was changing. So I am still a hypocrite and stuck in an endless rut.
