So will an android phone sync with gmail and push loud alarms? I need to get either an ipod touch or an android phone for calendaring. Thanks...

Yes it does. I get an alarm every time I get an email on gmail, almost instantaneously. It also alerts me when I've been outbid by some dick on ebay. And many other things. It's awesome. It also syncs with my google calender, and facebook calender.

I guess if I would have thought about it I would have realized that Google *made* Android, so it probably works really well with Google apps! Thanks.
