I'll play it this way and stay out of here if that's what the community wants.
We could get just as pissed off about fonts or reviews of games or disagreements about designers though so I don't see the point. It also puts a weird light on music, movies, and T.V. shows which I don't need to know shit about
But I'll stay away anyhow.

.for us to enjoy bombing the shit out of each other in Axis and Allies

Funny post on BGG Schewigy. I liked it.
yeah, a politics thread would be good but risky.
Canada election is 6 days away so that's a fun conversation maybe. I voted yesterday. Btw, the CBC 'compass' is flawed. Almost any combination of answers will drop you in one of three parties (not 5). It also shouldn't tell you which Party you are like, it should tell you what political leanings you have and then you can decide which party's platform suits you best. Also I secretly suspect (I'm sure this will come out eventually if it's true) that it was done with a strong liberal bias (I,m liberal, btw) throwing tons of people towards the red.
In the U.S. there have been lots of these types of tests and most are proven inaccurate but one is good, I can find the link, but it's widely respected as being pretty spot-on.
if Americans are too bored to listen to Cdn politics, we can talk about U.S. stuff too. I'm thinking Mitt Romney is a shoe-in for Republican nomination, am I wrong?

In the early 00's I was very active in a BloodBowl communtiy that had a Politics Forum. The thought was it could be handled respectably since we all seemingly liked each other well enough.
It didn't go well. Try as we might, it became to difficult for some to prevent their personal disagreements in the Politics Forum from coloring their responses in other threads and forums.
Many folks left the site, and the Politics Forum was shut down.
As others have said, we tend to go off over icon layouts on cards. Let's not add politics into the mix.
