I'm not sure if this is something that can be fixed from this end, but I've noticed in the last couple of months, sometimes when I use my iPhone to view the forum, some of the posts are just blank, and vertically long.:
As you can see, it is not every post in a thread, but none seem to show up after it starts. Also, many threads are just fine.
Any ideas?

Yea I've seen the same thing when using my iphone to view the site. I'd say it happens to about 15-20% of the threads I try to view... The first page might be ok, but then page two looks out of whack.
When using my iPad I've never had any issues though.

Oh yeah, the single vertical line of letters has happened to me also, but not recently.

Any news on getting this fixed? I'm at the point where I cannot read half the posts on the forums on my iPhone due to the issues everyone else is mentioning (I can see the original post but none of the responses).

I don't know why there is a problem with the iPhone. I manage the site mostly via iPad, and iPod. I don't own an iPhone, so it is impossible to debug the problem. I'll try to borrow someone,s iPhone to see if I can figure it out, but it probably won't be anytime in the near future. I hoping my life will let up enough to upgrade the entire site which should probably solve multiple issues. However, I need about 40 free hours to pull that off.

My iPhone works fine with F:AT for almost all pages. Some look wonky, but I suspect it's how Safari parses some blogs and articles rather than a problem with the engine of the site itself.

Uba, there aren't any specific sets of surface issues affecting it. I've tried
troubleshooting" it different ways. Clearing cache, resetting app, resetting phone, use over wi-fi, use over 3g. It's completely random. It's like doing a will check to read a thread, lol. Roll the dice.

The banner ads in the forum are just jpgs.
I think it could be the facebook and or/twitter links. Last night I was at a school that blocks facebook and twitter and got some loads.

For anyone who has the problem I posted above if you hit Reply it'll reformat the posts to be readable. Not ideal but at least a workaround if you really want to read something.
