Another "haven't posted for ages" returner although in my case it's just because I'm rubbish.

I fully approve of this change. There's a real need for high quality written content at the moment.

A few thoughts/questions/ideas.

Have you considered the occasional bit of accessible game theory/ludology type stuff? Obviously, not loads of it or as a major focus. But I actually think there's an unfilled gap between the really dense academic Board Game Studies Journal type stuff and the 101 type things. Basically at the moment it's Greg Costyikan and nobody else doing that and he's busy a lot.

Does the change of name suggest an openness to other types of games as well? Obviously, video games are already covered, but rpgs etc.? I have a vested interest here. One of the reasons for my lack of posting is that while I still boardgame, increasingly it's what I do between LARPs. And I recently started megagaming and feel like a giddy teenager playing Junta for the first time again.

Over the years I've dropped in and out of here. I'll continue to do so, and I feel grateful that people care enough to take a great site and keep it going. Thank you.

What I don't understand is, as a F:ATtie from the Before Time, why "F:AT" monogrammed underwear hasn't been offered to mollify a longstanding case of uncontrollable nerdrage? Since when did underwear become the enemy?
