I've bumped into this a couple of times now. I'll hamfist a post, hit the Edit button to make a change. Edit screen appears and looks normal, I edit the text. When I push the Submit button it just brings the Edit screen back up, preserving my changes I just made in the textarea.

I encountered this issue today as well. My edits were so minor, I think I forgot them, but it seems like they were not logged.
ETA: Also had a new reply in a different thread that never posted. I just got tossed to the editing screen.

In our heated combat with the spambots I boosted our flood control. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll bring it down to normal levels again late tonight.
