Rankings suggestion

I have an ides for our own F:AT game rankings:

1) Ask for our BGG usernames in our profiles.
2) Design an app that would fetch our ratings over there and build a ranking.

Shouldn't be too hard to do.

It requires tacit approval from BGG, and I don't see that happening. BGG threw a fit about pictures from BGG being used in the old blog, so I'd imagine a similar result here.

I used some BGG images (giving credit) and I never received any flak from them. I think if we were some sort of pay-per site, there might be an issue. But as long as we give credit and don't profit from it, I believe it falls under their fair use.

However, I avoid using images from BGG if at all possible, just to avoid the issue if I can.

Ah, that's right. It wasn't on the old blog, but on one of Michael's Gameshark entries.
